Girls on the Run® is a life-changing, character
development program for girls in 3rd through 8th grade. Our mission is
to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun,
experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Miss New York Mallory Hagan Tap Dancing to James Brown
Hagan, a 23-year-old Fashion Institute of Technology student from Park Slope, Brooklyn
Hagan’s title as Miss America 2013 gives her a $50,000 scholarship and a
yearlong run as an advocate and role model. As Miss New York 2012, she
focused on child sexual abuse awareness and prevention, an issue that
hits close to home.
